I tried to update the OS to check if can be any bug, but still the same not broadcasting. Then I need try it to check if gonna work or no.

Console into the AP & set it via CLI.

See below, you should see something similar to that & you should be able to configure your own SSID.

I did this, the autoinstall, then i have set the SSID by there but no success.

Post below output from your ME controller.

1. show sysinfo

2. show wlan summary

3. show advanced 802.11a summary

4. show advanced 802.11b summary

5. show ap summary

6. show time

I gonna send to you by private msg

Thanks for the output. As per below, both your radios down, hence no SSID broadcast.

5GHz is admin disabled. Pls check those two radio status of the AP  (Wireless > Access Points > Radio > 802.11a|b > AP name in traditional GUI of Airenet WLC). If you scroll right, you will see drop down menu that you can select "configure" option to manually change settings. Try Admin Status "enable" there for 5GHz & see what's happening.

Monitor AP console & see if it gives any error msg when you trying to do that(should give some hint why radio is not coming up).

Is all enable guys, take a look below:

What is the details of security for your SSID ? Layer 2 and Layer 3.

Because I have the same problem, when the SSID Layer 2 Security is Static Web, it is not broadcasting in AP2802I,while broadcasting in old models such as CAP2702I, but when I change it to [WPA2][Auth(PSK)] it shows up in AP2802I.

Give it a try.

For me I have problem at list if I try to create a new SSID open, not show as well.

Hi,

I have the same issue but i noticed the the AP has low power.

Have you tried to downgrade to 8.5?

Hello,

Thank you for answered back. So, I didn't try yet. Did you? If you have sucess let me know.

Hi Blbribeiro,

We have tried downgrading to 8.5 but it did not fix the issue.

My issue could be different from yours as our AP's power sources are using 802.3af which is insuffecient and it's a external adapter. Unlike those AP's connected to POE switches.

Can you check your settings also if you have enough power to broadcast SSID's? I attached sample..Ours have lower power which maybe the cause of SSID's not being advertised.

Hello,

Sorry for my late. But I have checked that now and for me shows like Power status: Power injector / Full power.

So, this is not the problem. Can be other one..

Thank you!
