Hi All,
I keep getting this alarm in Cisco Prime 2.2 send from the WLC 5508
AP Impersonation of MAC '5c:a4:8a:d7:f0:02' using source MAC '5c:a4:8a:d7:f0:02' is detected by authenticated AP 'AP_1' on '802.11b/g' radio and Slot ID '0'.
I am not sure if this is a bug on the WLC, we are currently running Image 8.0.110.

Thats what I thought, I will be updating the WLC image to 8.0.115 this week. Hopefully this upgrade solve this problem, I will update this discussion if the problem was solved by doing the upgrade.
thank you for your reply

Anyone have an update on this? We ran into this today as well on a wism2 running 8.0.115. what's odd is we have 2 wism2's running this code (for redundancy...primary/secondary) we only have this problem on one of them.

I don't think so. How can I check it?

GUI to controller security/wireless protection policies/ap authentication/ look at your protection type. Is it set to ap authentication?

No. Protection type = Management Frame Protection

Is there a resolution to this issue? Running Prime Inf ver 3.1 and WLC ver 8.0.133.0.
Thanks!
