AP is under attack log messages

Hi,

We are having 5508 controller with 26 access points.

We are getting below error messages for every 15 min.

Warning: Our AP with base radio Mac <mac id> is under attack (contained) by another AP on radio type. 

I also upgraded with latest and recommended version of 8.0. But still we are getting error messages.

Is there any recommendation we need to follow ?

Hi @madhusudhan s

 There are some situation where this can happen.  Make sure your SSID is not being used by some neighbor network. If you and someone else advertise the same SSID, this situation can happen.

  If possible, try to change your SSID and see if stops.

Isolate between self-containment due to AP issue Vs External containment Vs Bad client behavior through over-the-air packet capture when the issue happens.
