AP not associate with 9800-CL WLC

AP 1832i

WLC 9800-CL.

we use 9800-CL VM .and AP 1832i doest not associate with this controller.

This issue is related to License because we do not use any license we just download VM image and run in EXSI Server?

This Issue is related AP compatibility  with 98000CL controller?

This issue is related AP profiling in controller ?

we just enter a command in AP like: capwap ap primary-base ****** 192.168.2.1 , also not sure WLC name we cant find wlc name in gui .

has the AP previously been connected to an AIROS WLC?

Found that you had to disable AP certificate validation on the AIROS WLC then push across to 9800

Also make sure that you have issued this command to the 9800

config vwlc-ssc key-size 2048 signature-algo sha256 password [password]

and make sure you use a decent length complex password as that also stopped APs from joining the 9800

yes AP previously associate with mobility controller. or AP current image is mobilty experess.

when im power up AP its request sent to both Mobilty controller or 9800 but join only mobilty controller, we want to associate AP with 9800 but rejection occur.

my query is this is licence issue Because our 9800 controller has no licence is trial VM image.

or another issue?
