AP not joining the WLC 3504

Hi,

 

I have a cisco AP model  3702I-k9.. It is not joining to the WLC 3504. The AP gets stuck in the sending Join Request to 10.69.64.15 message as below. Please help.

 

*Jan 22 03:53:51.000: %CAPWAP-5-DTLSREQSEND: DTLS connection request sent peer_ip: 10.69.64.15 peer_port: 5246
*Jan 22 03:53:51.223: %CAPWAP-5-DTLSREQSUCC: DTLS connection created sucessfully peer_ip: 10.69.64.15 peer_port: 5246
*Jan 22 03:53:51.223: %CAPWAP-5-SENDJOIN: sending Join Request to 10.69.64.15
*Jan 22 03:53:56.223: %CAPWAP-5-SENDJOIN: sending Join Request to 10.69.64.15

make sure clock in accurate on WLC.

please do not forget to rate.

clock is same

go to wlc GUI.

Monitor---->statistics---->AP join

You have any other aps joined to this wlc? If not, make sure you add the license and that the country code is correct.

hi,

 

Do You have any other AP on the controller?

What ver of code are you running on the controller?

what is the model number of the AP? region?

 

Send below details..

show sysinfo

show license summary

paste the out of these two commands:

sh version form AP

sh sysinfo from WLC

 

also paste the bootup process from AP console.

I added the license and then AP got registered.

Although the license shows 250, I had added it and then it is joined the wlc.
