AP not registering

Hello,

I have WLC 5520 to which already number of 2802i APs are registered. However, when I am trying to register a new AP it fails. I have noticed that it registers initially but then attempts to download software from the controller. Once the software is downloaded it doesn't register again. Same is indicated in the attached logs.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks,

Qamber

pls attach (.txt format) that AP console output while you are trying to register it.

Post the complete output to the following commands:

1.  WLC:  sh sysinfo; and

2.  AP:  sh version

I am suspecting the AP has the wrong Regulatory Domain.

I think you are probably hitting one of the bugs in 8.3.140.0 which is why that code has been withdrawn.  You should upgrade to 8.3.141.0 asap otherwise you risk losing any of those APs each time they are rebooted.
