AP run mode OEAP

I have a question and would like to be answered. Ap is running OEAP at the branch. I am currently planning a new management ip for AP. If I change the AP's ip on Controller. Can the AP reconnect to the Controller?

   If you are going to change the AP IP address you need to keep in mind where the AP is installed.  Usually AP works with DHCP but if this AP is using static IP address, you can not only change the AP IP's address, you need to make sure the gateway for the AP is correct.

 OEAP is suppose to be remote and it might be connected in some small office or home or anywhere local network and you need to make sure the new IP address will work properly locally.

Changing it to DHCP might be the better option.

For example if user home router is changed it might stop working with static IP, while with DHCP it will simply get a new IP from the home router.
