AP TO WLC

Ive set up a wireless network today consisting of Cisco 2800 WAP's and a 2504 WLC. For some reason the AP's will not join the controller. I have a consoled into the wlc and this is the output

Upgrade the firmware of the controller to something more recent, for example 8.2.X.X or 8.5.X.X. 

The controller doesn't "understand" the new AP.  This is probably why the information about "AP not supported" was left out.

Try to search the forum on “ap not joining a wlc”. You will find many references and solutions to your issue. There are guides that tell you the requirements for an ap to join a wlc, which you need to follow.
