AP transmit power

Hi,

We use Aeronet 1850e APs. Country code set to HU (Hungary). On Radio 2,4GHz there is only 5 level to set transmit power and max. power to set is 13 dBm. Why can't i set power to higher value? By product specification maximum value for this AP is 22 dBm and European regulation allow 20 dBm (100 mW).

     - The power level could be restricted by the particular regulatory domain , note that max power level(s) can be counter productive because clients must be then be able to bridge the distance gap to  the AP that it hears from too.

Don't forget to account for antenna gain.
