Hi,
I need some help configuring the AP1832, everytime I give a static IP to it via console or ME GUI, it does not save it, and takes IP from the DHCP, even if I stop the DHCP server and give it a static IP, it goes into APIPA ip and does not respond until I start the DHCP again.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
Ajay

As i said earlier...let it take DHCP IP address..and do the rest of the configuration.
Once it up and running ..then just change IP.

Hi Ajay,
just wait for the AP to join the controller and change the IP address using the GUI.

Hi Sandeep,
Thank you for your input, I have tried this method, but it still doesn't work, it is a Mobility Express virtual controller. Everytime I give the APs a static IP, it just skips it and takes IP from the DHCP, if available.
Looking forward to your response.
Ajay
