Hey did you install the supplementary bundle for the outdoor APs (AP802,AP1530, AP1550 and AP1570). Your APs probably can't find the software on the WLC so download and install the bundle.

Cheers,
Ric

Upgrade to 8.5.135.0.

Thanks Leo,

I upgraded to that version and now the AIR-CAP1552E-E-K9 AP's do not want to work. See attached.........

Hello Ric,

Could you please send me a link to the correct supplementary bundle and also show or tell me where to install it to the WLC?

Hi Mathemba,

The file is in the same location on Cisco as where you downloaded the code from. If you are using WLC 5508 for example it is under the 8.5.135.0 (I assume that's what you installed) download section labelled (Supplementary AP Bundle Images for Cisco 5508 Series WLC Release 8.5. This bundle is mandatory to support AP802,AP803,AP1530, AP1550 , AP1570 and AP1600.)

What model WLC are you using?

Hi Ric,

I installed the supplementary bundle (AIR-CT2500-AP_BUNDLE-K9-8-5-135-0) and it worked, all AP's are up and running.

Thanks a lot.

Am running a 2504 on my site.

Attachment "B" has a filter of "Downloading" and the 1550 are there.  So I can't tell from the screenshots if the APs are actually downloading the firmware or not.

Next, I agree with Ric.  Did you upload the AP Supplementary Bundle?
