I have a Cisco AP9130 that is currently configured as a LWAP. I would like to convert this AP to autonomous, run the WLC software o it so that I can utilize it for Active Surveys at customers' sites. I am looking for a little guidance on the best way to accomplish this. Thank you. -Jim

Convert to autonomous is pretty easy but you need to download the image.

However, Autonomous does not have WLC but Mobility Express which is the New autonomous.

That's all wrong @Flavio Miranda
Catalyst 9100 do not support autonomous (that was IOS based APs - the new are all COS) and ME was AireOS and only for the Wave 2 AC access points.
As @Haydn Andrews says below the Catalyst 9100 APs now run the IOS-XE (9800) based EWC on AP.
Note they don't all support EWC - for example the new 9136 does not, but it has a dedicated survey mode.

The 9130 will need to run the EWC to do site surveys. Firstly you need to convert the AP to the EWC mode, then config the site survey SSIDs/ power levels, channels etc
Rather than me telling you how to do it there already some good references here:

Good blog here doing this via a python script
