I am getting errors in the logs on a Cisco WLC 3750G integrated WLC running 7.0.235.3
7925G on 1.4.1 firmware
I have set this up as per the 7925G deployment guide. Running WPA2 802.1x + CCKM Local Auth
We have a few VOIP issues at the moment so want to rule these out.

Typically this is due to the clients.... take a look at this support doc which is Cisco's best practices for deployment of the 792x:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-26863
https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2088240
Thanks,
Scott

HI Chris,
This mostly occurs due to incompatibility on the client side. Try these steps in order to fix this issue:
- Check if the client is Wi-Fi certified for WPA2 and check the configuration of the client for WPA2.
- Check the data sheet in order to see if the client Utility supports WPA2. Install any patch released by the vendor to support WPA2. If you use Windows Utility, make sure that you have installed the WPA2 patch
from Microsoft in order to support WPA2.
- Upgrade the client's Driver and Firmware.
- Turn off Aironet extensions on the WLAN.
Regards

I have been though the 7925G deployment guide and have implemented every single suggestion. Even sacrificing performance to optimise for the VOIP. So these answers are not much help i'm afraid.
This wlan is purely for cisco 7925G voip phones.
We are getting occasional poor roaming, choppy audio, breaking up, loss of calls so i'm investigating every error at the moment.

7925G on 1.4.1 firmware
Use a minimum of 1.4(3).
Cisco WLC 3750G integrated WLC running 7.0.235.3
Use 7.0.250.X.

I have no control over the firmware on the phones but we are trying to get the platform provider to update it. Hopefully that will resolve some issues.
Does anybody know if WLC version 7.0.250.X will work with WCS 7.0.240.0? I can't see an update for WCS past that.

That link seems to be about 7.6 which i'd love to go to if we had money to get rid of our 1G controllers.

Well... this is from the BU... so issues with the phones, you are pretty much stuck with work arounds if you can get it to work. Open a TAC case so they can tell you what to do.
Thanks,
Scott

OK We are still having major problems with a handset.
I have upgraded the controller to 7.0.250.0 and the 7925G is on 1.4.5.3
Still the same errors and lots of them. It seems this phone has to do a full re-auth each time it roams.
