Appletalk Protocol

I have a problem with 340AP while I use appletalk protocol. but it works fine when I use my Mac Laptops with TCP/IP connection. do I need to make any changes in the the AP configuration so that it allow the Appletalk protocol...if any one has an answer..please let me know..

we are not able to log in to the server when we select Appletalk protocol. But we could login when we select TCP/IP from the apple Mac Client machines. we also thought wether its go to do soemthing with the Sapnning tree protocol or. does spanning tree enabled by default?
