Autonomous Mode Failing on Aironet 2702i-z-k9

Hi!
I made converted an 2702i from light to autonomous, changing the image to the version: flash:/ap3g2-k9w7-mx.153-3.JC/ap3g2-k9w7-xx.153-3.JC

This image have web interface very unstable (we need to apply many times the configuration to save) and recently I observed a very strange behaviour: the throughtput delivered in 5GHz (80MHz) are above 300Mbps normally, but with time (about four hours or more) the throughput drops to below 1Mbps. To eliminate the variable of hardware, I converted another equipment and this situation remains.

Someone have any hint ? May be a "bugged" version ? Follows the running-config

Hi Marce! Thanks for your answer but unfortunately I don´t have smartnet contract to download this new image.I will try to get it and keep you posted.

Tks,

Bernardo

Do not enable TKIP as encryption, that will resulting max 54Mbps. If you want to get MCS rates (higher data rates) it needs to be just AES.
encryption mode ciphers aes-ccm tkip

Hi Rasika!

I´m making this modification and let´s see. Your recommendation make sense since more encryption loads more the firmware and processor.

Just a comment: when the AP degrades the bandwidth, I loose control of the equipment, not responding to any IP access (telnet/ssh or ICMP - not ping response), just via console port.

Hi @marce1000 I made the update as you recommended. Used two APs but still the same behaviour. Strange is not? I´m now using an Cambium e410 in the same switch and network without any issue. I want to use the 2702 since have a better performance (when fresh).

I have no problems on 2702I-E-K9 with version: ap3g2-k9w7-tar.153-3.JF10.tar
