back up cisco controller to a linux machine

Hi

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.  I'm pretty new to working in IT and using cisco.  My line manager has asked me to look into how to back up a cisco controller on to a linux machine.  Does anyone know how, or have a suggestion regarding where to look?

What is your WLC model?

configuration back up can be taken easily via FTP/TFTP. As long as you can run FTP/TFTP server on your linux machine you can do it easily
