Backup config from wlc 5500 and restore to wlc 8500

Hi,

i found a problem when restore a wlc configuration to 8500 from a backup of 5500 wlc. 8500 Wlc does not accept  the login credential of managemnt user.

This is my envoronment two old wlc 5508 HA and two new 8500 HA with different ap.

Who can help me ?

Edit the backup file by using a text editor.  Manually enter the management password as if you were going to manually add the management credentials from the console or ssh.

the credential on backup file are crypted, i can write clear text? is tediuos reset the system, and the reset password command don't work...

I never tried doing this with a backup that was encrypted. If you can open it in a text editor, then give it a try, but might be easier to just backup the 5508 unencrypted.
