Been experimenting with Bluetooth Beacons and am a little disappointed. I'm able to see the beacons on my computer with scanning software. I enable Beacon discovery on the WLC. I do discover Bluetooth devices but there is no way to ID any one specific BLE Beacon. I can seem to read any specific data on the tag. For example (see picture) one of those entries is the BLE Beacon physically attached to AP. I can't even guess which one it is ???. The scanning software on the PC will report the UUID of Beacon but am unable to find any centralized log of the Beacon. Having to rip into individual AP's for this data seen silly to me.

I think that's where the CMX comes into play:
Please contact your Cisco AM/SE and tell them about BLE. To enable BLE on the AP, a special account into Cloud CMX is needed.
