blinking lights?

Is it possible to make the LED on an access point blink for ID purposes through CPI? We are running 3.2, if that makes a difference.  I can see how to do it from the WLC, but I was hoping there was a way that would not mean giving out WLC access to a fleet of technicians. I suspect I'm out of luck, but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks.

Hi

 Could you elaborate?

What you mean by CPI ? Did you mean API?

 And which version is 3.2?

The idea of less besides AP status is identify the AP, no big deal.

CPI is Cisco Prime Infrastructure. It's Cisco's management platform.

If I undersatnd your question clearly then yes You can do it with Prime 3.2:

Go to Configurations > Templates > Lightweight Access Points

Here create a Template and make sure to check the box for AP LED status.
