Hi!
Problem 1:
Trying to get two BR1310 working together. One is root and one is none root (also tried as workgroup bridge).
Native Vlan is also infrastructure vlan. The non root cant find the root and the distance is 10m between them! Use 3dBd omni antennas on the bridges for lab tests. The strange thing is that if i change the role of the none root bridge to root and back again to non root they associate and link is up! Tried to switch roles between the two bridges and the same behaviour occours (swapping config files). Use no encryption for the moment and cca is set to 61. In our environment we use vlan 999 as native, but that should not be a problem or?
Problem 2:
I also try to trunk our vlans without success. Switchports on both ends is set to trunk mode and to trunk native vlan 999. Can access the switches and BR1310 with browser and telnet at both ends at the link. If i define some of the vlans (3,15,16,17) i wish to trunk on the bridges i can access them on the "remote" end. Is this the way to do this? Thought the native vlan trunked the other vlans. This is a problem when i set security as say EAP on the native vlan. Then a wired PC on vlan 3 on the remote switch (C2950) is connected it will trigger a authentication process on the BR1310. The other vlans have no ssid and encryption settings. Tried to read pdfs and manuals on the topic, but i cant find out how to do this correct.
When i read in the forums cases with BR1310 bridges it seems like this product isnt easy to install.
I dont dare to use them outside my lab before i can be sure that they will work without messing around in the gui with station role settings. The remote bridge will be 2 km apart and it will be stupid to drive to it every time its rebooted because of loss of power etc.
Suggestions what to do is preciated!
Thanx in advance!

Problem 1 is now solved.
Started from scratch again and slowly built up the configs mainly throug the gui and it worked!
Have now a root bridge wich is connected to a workgroup bridge 1300m away. Use 18dbi parabolic antennas with 7m cables. The link is stable at 54Mbps. Nearby the workgroup bridge but higher up on a hill we have also a BR1310 in repeater mode associated to the root also 1300m away. Note the repeater had to have the shutdown command on the ethernet interface in the config. Booting without the ethernet cable didnt automatically put it in fallback repeater mode. The repeater then has two 24dbi grid antennas connected via a splitter. One antenna pointing to the root and the other to a school 3700m away. The link is also here good at 54mbps. Four BR1310 are now in our setup and it works fine! The BR1310 replaced som old Breezenet boxes and the most impressing is the difference in performance boost in speed but also in link quality! Just replaced the old boxes with the Cisco ones with new pigtails to the N-connectors on the existing antenna cables. Another advantage is now that we can easily trunk our VLANs to the remote buildings.
Problem 2 isnt solved yet regarding to security. Use only mac table for the moment, but want to implement LEAP. We have ACS 3.2 working with 20 AP1230 boxes right now.
