The bulk copy and replace APs function in Prime 3.2 requires the old and new base radio MAC addresses in the csv file. Prior to 3.2 it used to require the old and new Ethernet MAC addresses, which were easier to obtain. Can anyone confirm if later version of Prime revert back to requiring ethernet MACs?
Thanks.

Hi
Usually the required is the base radio Mac for most of thing I see, so, Cisco is more suitable to answer that but I don't think this is going to change. But I don't believe this is difficult to get. You may can not get from the wired network, as Ethernet Mac, but you can easily take using Prime report, snmwalk or script via wlc CLI.

Hi,
thanks for your reply. I understand I can get the mapping between ethernet and base radio MAC from Prime once the new access points are joined, but this is an extra step that wasn't previously required and it takes time. We're about to replace over 1000 APs so it will add up. I'm wondering how others deal with their replacement cycles.
Regards,
Brian
