Hello
i have a C9115 wifi access point model C9115AXI-E-K9 , in datasheet Cisco said it has 4-dbi 5ghz and 3-dbi 2.4 Ghz integrated antenna but in configuration page gain of antenna is set to 10 and it is gray and not changeable , is that really 10? i think it is not possible to put a 10 dbi antenna in that box!

Hi
I would stick with the data sheet. The external antenna for this AP gets 7 dBi, no way the internal can reach 10.
the information you are seeing on the WLC must be a "cosmetic" bug.

Hello
thank you for the comment, but no one from Cisco here to say why this mistake happened in many releases of the controller software? and does it affect on actual power or it is just a typo mistake?
because a lab tested my device and reported that PSD ( power spectral density ) of the device is 14.38 while standard says it must be less than 14 and rejected this model!!!

If you want to hear from Cisco you better to open a TAC case.
