C9117 AP Cannot connect to Serial Cli

Hello,

I am a newbie here and I will really appreciate some help with my new C9117 AP.

It's a new C9117 out of the box, and I am trying to convert it to EWC capabilities. Many documents indicate to me that is possible. The first step is to connect to the Serial CLI and I have an issue.

In fact I can connect with Putty on the Serial Port, I'm seeing output of the AP but I can't login.

The AP is Stuck in loop in "CAPWAP State Discovery".

I Haven't a WLC controller, the goal is to deploy this AP to a small network and this is the reason why, I would like to convert it to EWC capabilities.

How can I access the login prompt ?

So you say your main problem is the login? Have you tried Cisco/Cisco (capital "C") to authenticate?

I have found the problem... It was my console cable, it wasn't correctly pined out, so I wasn't able to interact with putty in the AP console. With some patience, an RJ45 cable and some solder I have built a new temporarily cable, and now I can login to the console. Now I'm looking the conversion guide to EWC.
