C9130 and 802.1x using MIC for access

Hello,

does the 9130 acts like a supplicant out of the box?
We have a secured network and MAB is really a pain and kind of useless security wise.

So ideally I want to use the MIC to give the AP network access, is this possible?

Regards

You can configure the APs to authenticate via 802.1x to the wired network, but its not out of the box.

You would need to stage them

Thx, but I know how to configure it manually. The thing here is to use something smarter for initial onboarding than whitelisting a MAC address, opening a port, or prestaging a device.
