The document cover that information :

Force Switchover

If you want to force a switchover between boxes you can either manually reboot the active 9800 WLC or run this command:

# redundancy force-switchover

As long as they are HA, i do not see any issue reloading Primary in the change window (if you are concerned)

Make sure you use right command, reload reboot both controllers.

thanks for reply

my question that in old controllers if HA enabled you can choose when reloading if you want to reload self- peer- or booth options, but here I can't see it if I want to reload from active then I want to reload all stack and in standby, we cant access it to reload it.

Hi,

You can also do force switchover. In that case Primary will reboot.

redundancy force-switchover
