Hi We have the below connection. Using show lldp neighbor, 7060CX can see C9300, but why 7060CX cannot see C9800? However C9300 and C9800 can see each other via cdp neighbor without any connection issue. Thanks
Cisco C9300 ------- Arista7060CX ------- C9800wlc

do you enable LLDP in all three SW?
there is chance that one side run CDP other run LLDP.

Hi
Takes me to the conclusion that 9800 has no LLDP enable.

Thanks for your reply. Yes C9800 did not enable lldp, After enabling it, 7060 can see C9800, but why C9800 cannot see 7060? Look like 7060 does not have cdp function, right?

Dont mix up LLD with CDP.
CDP is cisco proprietary so, only Cisco devices will see each other using CDP
Multi vendor topology like yours has to be LLDP. Enable LLDP in all devices if you need this.

Yes CDP is cisco proprietary but cisco device support both CDP and IETF
other vendor support only IETF.
