Can a LAP get its hostname from dhcp server?

I tried using option 12 (host-name) without success.

Is there any way to do this?

I don't think that the LAP's look at option 12 from dhcp. You would have to change the hostnames manually through the GUI or script something and use the CLI.

We'll try to use a script & CLI to assign the hostname to new deployed access points.
