Can I connect a Bridge in non-root mode to an AP in root mode?

I have a bridge that I'd like to use as repeater to connect to an AP in root mode. Is it posible to do this? or viceversa? The access point (in non-root mode) connecting to a bridge in root mode

You can connect a 350 series bridge to an access point in either root mode or repeater mode. Refer to the URL below for the Role in Radio Network settings. If you have have a 340 series bridge, the only way to configure it with an AP is to set the bridge up as an access point in root mode and have the access point be the repeater.
