Capatibility issues between Catalyst 3650 Wireless and AP 1852I

Hello All,

As anybody try to associate the above mention AP to 3650 WLC? Going throug data sheet of 3650 1852 was not listed among the AP supported but looking at data sheet for 1850 switch 3650 was mention among supported switch. This is rather confusing.

I will like to know you take if you have experience this before.

You need to be running these software versions:

03.07.02E
03.07.01E
03.07.00E

03.06.03E
03.06.02E
03.06.01E
03.06.00E

Well I just installed one that rejected registration from AP1852i due to unsupported AP. The message is clear.

Looking at those version you mention none support 1852i if you read their release note.

Only 16.1.x release support which are controller based access point.
