Hello all,

Please help with the basics check list to be configured on the wlc and ise for the guest captive portal.

Recently we have implemented the guest captive portal, most of the users not able to connect.

Regards,

Anjana

  • Is it working for Windows devices?
  • Are you using valid public certificates for your portal(s) which match the DNS FQDN of the site?
  • Have you run a debug/packet capture/radioactive trace on a client experiencing the issue?
  • Have you verified that your redirect ACL (if configured) matches your network as per Cisco documentation?
  • Do you have HTTP enabled under the web auth parameter map or the IP HTTP server?
  • Is captive portal bypass enabled for Apple devices on the WLC?
