Catalyst 9800 - 16.12.04a - radioactive trace error

Hello,

 

I have an issue with a catalyst 9800 wireless controller running version 16.12.04a.

 

When using radioactive trace to troubleshoot client issues we sometimes get an error after trace generation (see screenshot).

It looks like this happens based on how far back we want the trace to begin : We only see this error if we want to generate logs for more than the last 10 hours.

 

This is becoming inconvenient for us because it means we have to troubleshoot every issue live with the user. We can't simply ask them for a timestamp and expect to see debugs after the facts, which is our main use of the radioactive trace.

 

I can't find anything about this issue on google. Does anyone have a fix or should we go straight to the TAC ?

Couldn't find anything with a quick search in the release notes:

But there were a lot of bugs fixed in 16.12.05, so you might want to consider an upgrade to fix those.
