CCIE Wirless written exam cancelled without reason

Hello, I am posting here as I have no other options to try, today I received a surprise cancellation from Pearson VUE for my CCIE-W that I was due to take on Wednesday this week. The cancellation read simply this "

This e-mail contains important information about the exam you cancelled. Please ensure these details are correct. If any information is not correct, please contact Pearson VUE immediately" I had not cancelled in fact it would be the last thing on my mind after weeks of study and preparation! Next I received an email telling me that my exam fee will be refunded in 11 days. I called them and was told there was a technical issue at the testing center, when I asked for an email regarding that so I can prove to my line manager that they had cancelled I was told over and over to re-book it and in the end had to stop the conversation as it was going nowhere. Pearson VUE have no complaints procedure, no means of contact other than a call center so I tried the test facility directly, they are part of Global Knowledge and located in Leeds UK, I was told that the exam was cancelled due to illness which is fair enough but again they could not send me any confirmation so I can prove I did not cancel the exam myself.

I really despair that Pearson VUE didn't even offer me an option of re-booking or have the courtesy to at least call me before cancelling and just sent the email stating I had cancelled the exam. I have no idea where I can take this, so I simply hope that someone at Cisco can take this up and make sure no one else gets the same treatment.

If I remembered correctly, Cisco has no control over what Pearson does.
Pearson is not related to Cisco (and vice versa).
If Pearson's network goes down while you're in the middle of an exam, this is outside Cisco's "hands" and control.
