Cisco 1242AP and 1852AP together ?

Hello,

 I currently have multiple 1242 AP, I have to log into each individually to manage.

I recently setup (12) 1852 AP, and they all connect to the primary controller 1852AP.

1852 is setup to use wpa2, can devices seamlessly move from the 1242ap to 1850 ?

also, can i set the security the same for both ?

If there is adequate signal overlap, then yes.  But remember that the decision of "roaming" depends entirely on the wireless NIC of the wireless client.  It will also help if the drivers of the wireless clients can be updated.
