I have a Cisco 3850 PoE+ switch and a Cisco 1532i outdoor access point. A PDF for the 1532 series states that when using PoE+ and not UPoE, one of the transmitters will not be powered up.
This is a cut and paste from the doc:
* When the Cisco Aironet 1532I is powered using Enhanced PoE (PoE+) power, the access point will automatically disable one of the 2.4-GHz transmitters.
Does anyone know what they're talking about?
Thanks in advance!
