I am running 1542 cisco access points as a mesh in an environment where vessels docks on 5gzh with a channel width of 80mhz for the best throughput for the client needs. lately the mesh network has been switch to 20mhz because it picking up radar burst from time to time on channels 100 - 112 and knowing that there is no work around as it regulations.
The weird part is I not able to manually select channels for UNII-1 or UNII-2 bands only UNII-2 extended bands as you can see in the image below. The global setting does have the DCA bands enabled and even create a RF profile with the bands and still cant use UNII-1/UNII-2 bands. May country domain is E and i have other APs that's not this model allow UNII-1 and UNII-2. I mean i don't think it can be limited to only the model to use these UNII-2 extended?
