Hello,
I have a cisco 2504 controller with 10 AP's. I have 3 WLANs. I would like to have one WLAN only broadcast to 2 of my 10 AP's? Is this possible? If so how would I configure the WLan?

On a 2504 you can't remove a WLAN from the default group, thats why you have to create two groups.

Yes, no ap's in the default group

Yep, you can do this with AP-Groups. Create an AP Group and put the right WLANs with the right LAPs.
This will allow you to control what AP's transmit which WLANs.

You need to create two ap groups. One ap group will only have that one SSID and you add that access point to that group and then create another ap group that has all your SSIDs except that one in the other group. Then put all your other AP's in that group. The default group will have all SSIDs created on the WLC... Well WLAN ID 1-16. That's why you need two groups.

Ok i did that but i think i see the problem. underneath the default-group it still has my WLAN listed. Should i remove the WLAN from the default-group? If so how? When i click the drop down arrow and the remove option is looks like it is deleting the WLAN and not removing it from the access-group.

so the extra AP's that are listed underneath the default-group i have to move to a second AP group?
