Cisco 2504 Controller login issues

Hi Guys,

I have a new 2504 controller that I am unable to log in to either using the CLI or GUI.

I have tried to default it but still when connected to console, it doesn't display anything.

I have attached a screenshot of the same.

Any assistance on how to resolve this issue is highly welcome.

The console settings is incorrect.

These are my console settings;

speed - 9600

data bits - 8

stop bits - 1

parity - none

flow control - none

Can you try with a different machine?

I have tried but still the issue persists.

I can't even ping the default IP (192.168.1.1) through ethernet.

Could it be a firmware issue?

When connected to the console, power the unit off and back on. It should display at the very least output during boot.  If not, it may be bad firmware.  If it was running 8.0 code I remember a bug around that version killing the 2504 models.

I have already done this but still there's no output during the boot process.

If its bad firmware, how can I install a new firmware without access to the device?
