I have several Novell 5 & 6 servers running pure IP. All of my Desktops run fine with a wired NIC. All of my XP wireless laptops run fine with either a CISCO 350 wireless card or its own internal NIC.
The problem I have is with 2 models of laptops. One is a Compaq EVO N110 and the other is a Compaq Armada 1750. Both also use a CISCO 350 wireless card. I can't get the Novell Login Window to popup. It goes directly to the desktop or to the Windows login screen. I am running WIN98 with Client3.4 Novell. Once I am in Windows, I have an IP Address and I can right-click on the Red N to login.
These same laptops will login fine to a Novell server that is setup with IP/IPX.
All of the problem Laptops have the CISCO AIRONET 350 wireless card with the latest firmware and driver.
