Cisco 4400 Series 4400 wireless lan controller, Factory defaults

Good afternoon,

I need help with erasing the above unit i have a cisco rolled cable attached to the back of the laptop in the serial port, but i also have a serial Console port on the wireless lan controller as well how do i go about configuring the unit to factory defaults.

You need to connect the serial connector to your laptop and the other connector (RJ 45 connector) to the device then reboot your device. When it boots it will tell you to press escape to skip normal boot. If you do that you will get the reset to fefaults option on the list.
