Good day
I have a 5508 wireless controller and AIR-AP3802E-E-K9 APS.
to which firmware version can I upgrade controller firmware so that also APs gets updated and everything works perfectly after?
and what is the simplest way to go about doing an upgrade?
controller currently
Software Version | 8.5.161.0 |
Field Recovery Image Version |
AP'S currently primary SW ver 8.5.161.0 backup SW ver 8.5.140.0

The "highest" firmware the 5508 can go is 8.5.182.0. And this version can support the 3800.
Do not forget to read the Release Notes.

The use of the 8.5.182.0 , release is discouraged because of a few bugs
