Hello all,
We have a few cisco 7925 wireless phones in our remote offices that use one of the wireless lans on our Cisco 5500 WLC. We just recently moved to a new Datacenter and ever since the WLAN that the Wireless phones use is greyed out. None of our wireless 7925 phones are registered anymore.
Any suggestions as to how we can get the wlan that is greyed out back in service?
If so, please share how this can be done.
Thank you.
Rgds,
Vicky

What is the signal bars indicating? Is it green, yellow or grey?

Hi Leo,
Not sure about the wireless 7925 phone but when I select the APs that had the voice WLAN assigned to them, the voice WLAN is greyed out. It is no longer listed with our private and guest WLANs on the controller. I need to figure out how to get that WLAN back in service?
Any suggestions?

voice WLAN is greyed out
And you are seeing this in the WLC?

Yes. The private and guest networks are working and available but the voice WLAN is greyed out.

So you can't delete the Voice VLAN?
Can you post a screenshot? I haven't seen a behaviour like this before.
Have you tried to reboot the WLC?

Hi,
Yes, please delete the SSID which you configured for 7925 wireless phone, on WLC and create new one and then connect all wireless phone to new SSID and then check..

Try the below suggested method of removing and adding it again.
Never seen anything greyed out, could you please try enabling and disabling the WLAN on WLC once.
