Cisco 5508 Bonjour Gateway Configuration 7.4

Hi,

I followed this guide to setup Bonjour Gateway on my 5508 wireless controller with 7.4.100.0 firmware

I can see the AppleTV service being advertised to the Wireless controller and its displayed under mDNS - Domain Names however on my iPhone/iPad the airplay icon doesn't appear. I have the exact same setup in my lab using a 2504 WLC and it works correctly, something is different about the 5508.

Has anyone else run into similar issues or able to provide a few pointers as to what might be causing this?

Hi,

Irrespective of this mDNS issue, upgrade your controller to 7.4.121.0 code if your current WLC version is 7.4.100.0 (which is a pretty bad code in my view)

Makesure "AirTune Service" is added to mDNS profile as well.
