We are getting multiple log for cisco 5508 wlc like "5500 heartbeat message - Did not receive heartbeat reply". The WLC is running with 8.2.167.1. Not getting suitable document to resolve it. There is no Latency issue.
Please let me know if anyone has faced this issue and resolved it permanently.

- For starters 8.2.x is old (and the 5508 is EOL) ; use https://software.cisco.com/download/specialrelease/8f166c6d88b9f77aabb63f78affa9749
then check if the problem is still present ,

Like Marce said that version of software is unsupportable.
Upgrade to 8.5.182.7 (presuming your APs are supported - see compatibility matrix below) and if you still see the problem then open a TAC case with Cisco.
Meanwhile you need to start planning hardware upgrade.
