Cisco 5520 Primary and Backup Ports.

We are currently using WLC 5508 that has a primary port and backup port for each interface/network.  WLC 5520 only has only two physical ports.  Our existing wireless network design has corporate WiFi network and guest WiFi network.

WLC5508:

Guest network interface has port 1 as primary port and port 2 as backup port.

Corporate network interface has port 3 as primary port and port 4 as backup port.

My question is:

How do I implement the same design on 5520?

Our security team wants internal and external traffic separate by two different physical ports.

Thanks,

Hi

If you need physical and logical segregation, a better option is to use a anchor/foreign architecture. You can use your 5520 as foreign and the 5508 as anchor. Put the anchor in a dmz and use a separate internet exit. You can use separese DHCP and dns as well.

 Hope that's help
