Think i am right in saying cisco don't currently ship an 802.11g based wireless bridge.
Anyone know of any plans of ciscos for the introduction of such a device (lots of other manufacturers do them). i have a customer who needs>6M, doesn't want to use more than two bridges and isn't in the us/mexico or the phillipines!

Cisco at this time does not have an 802.11g wireless bridge but they do have an 802.11a bridge which runs at 5.8GHz. Here is the URL for the product catalog which has all the specifications on the Cisco Aironet 1400 Series Wireless Bridge.

the 802.11a bridge also talks at 54mb/s just like the 802.11g bridge also.

thanks, but as i say, my customer is outside the us, mexico and the phillipines so 802.11a bridges are no use to me (they are not ratified elsewhere, probably won't be for months-years). 802.11g is good cos its in the b spectrum and hence could be used now. guess the rotw will have to wait....
