Solved: Cisco 9800 wireless LAN controller VM

We will be replacing a Cisco 5520 wireless LAN controller with a Cisco 9800 wireless LAN controller VM. My question is can the Cisco 9800 wireless LAN controller VM be placed into a Cisco Software defined fabric?
