I have installed a Cisco AIR-ANT2544V4M-R antenna and Cisco 3702e AP combination. The AIR-ANT2544V4M-R antenna is suspended from a cross beam in the warehouse and is mounted with the globe facing downward to the floor. The Cisco 3702e AP shows on-line with a solid green status light on the face of the AP, but there is never any wireless activity that passes through or picked up by the antenna? Is there any special settings that need to be configured for the AP and antenna to communicate with each other? The installation literature states that this antenna will work with any Cisco Aironet radio device, is self-sensing on startup, and that the four cables can be connected to any of the four ports on the access point? Am I missing something in the configuration of the device or AP that would cause the antenna not to recognize Wi-Fi clients in the area?
