CISCO Aironet 1700 wireless coverage range

Hi All:

i have CISCO AIR-CAP1702I-E-K9  when i finish all the configuration on the WLC  (WLC 2504)and everything is okay 

i have issues in coverage range the wireless range is so bad . i try to install D-Link access point with 4 dBi, actually the D-link access point wireless coverage range better than CISCO  AIR-CAP1702I-E-K9, so there is any solution please help me.

Hard to determine why the signal for the 1700 is bad as there are a lot of factors involved.

1.  How is the AP installed;

2.  Co-channel interferrence;

3.  Distance of the AP being measured; 

4.  Data rates used; 

5.  Dynamic power assignment
