Cisco Aironet AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9 Wireless Access Point 1130AG Series - Factory Reset

Hello,

I bought Access Points on Ebay.

One Access Point still has a configuration on it, i am not sure if it is running in Lightweight or Autonomous Mode, but service password-recovery is presumably disabled.

I can't get the Access Point to stop loading its normal configuration. Neither by sending BREAK while loading, pressing ESC while loading Image nor by holding down the MODE Button.

Is there any other way i can just reset this Access Point.

I don't need to recover the Password or the Configuration, i just want it to be on Factory Default.

Greetings

- Nikael

When power it on hold the mode button for at least 20s & then release the mode button. If you have a right image on a TFTP server you can load the required image to it.

Refer this post for some more details

If you forget the password that allows you to configure the access point, you may need to completely reset the configuration. You can use the MODE button on the access point or the web-browser interface.

Correct. I don't have the passwords.

I have already tried the reset procedures listed by you.

They had no effect.
