Hi everyone, I'm working in smart working in the company with anyconnect connection. My company told us to connect only with the lan cable and not with wifi. I wanted to ask you how does the company understand that I am working in wifi from home? What kind of software do they use? Or they just tried to guess ......

- In authorizing solutions such as Cisco ISE, posture checks may require AnyConnect to provide an network adapter name or setting  , for instance. As such Wifi or LAN - source, could be determined. You may of course verify this yourself.

Ok thank you for your answer last question: Is there a way to change the card name and make it look like an ethernet lan on the outside?

 - I can't confirm that ,if the posture-check is intelligent enough it may query registry parameters which could determine  the card type easily.
